Aruna Madhok is a Psychologist, presently working as Programme Manager with Sharan – REACH project. She is B.Sc (Hons) Home Science (Specialised in Child Developmental Psychology) from Lady Irwin College, New Delhi and completed her PG Diploma in Health Psychology and Behaviour Modification. Aruna specialises in Application of classical and operant conditioning in educational, clinical and social settings from all strata of society, Critical ethical and legal issues in any Research Methodology and Health Psychology – including  Techniques in chronic and life threatening illnesses, Health Cognitions, Disease Prevention and Palliative Care.

Mrs. Madhok has worked with Department of Psychiatry at Apollo Hospital, Delhi, Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi and Army Base Hospital, Delhi. Her experience also includes teaching, administering a school as a Principal, for approximately two years and over 20 years of experience in planning, organising and implementation of programmes for social awareness, reorientation communication skills, grooming, team-forming and leadership activities, in a regimental ambience. It included counselling and conceptualising programmes on: - Hygiene and Sanitation, Adult education, Income Generation projects for War Widows, Vocational Training and Medi-care.
