Dr Deepak has over 18 years of experience in the Medical Consultancy Field. He also possess a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Data Management From ICRI, New Delhi, 2007. He started his career as an Intern at RMCH, Ranchi in 1988 and completed his M.D. in Anaesthesia from DMCH, Bihar. |
Dr. Deepak joined Batra Hospital & Medical Research Center, New Delhi in December 1994 as Senior Resident (Cardiac Anaesthesia) and became Chief Cardiac Anaesthesiologist, Batra Hospital & Medical Research Center, in Jan 2005. Since April 2009 he is working as Sr. Consultant (Anaesthesiology), Max Devki Devi Heart & Vascular Institute, Saket. |
Dr. Deepak’s has exposure in diagnosing illnesses and prescribing and administrating appropriate treatment / medication for various ailments or diseases of the Heart. His areas of interest include all types of Closed & Open-Heart Operations in adults & children, Thoracic Surgery, as well as intensive Cardiological care. He has the distinction of successfully handling all kinds of open and closed heart surgeries, including complex, ex congenital cardiac surgeries, pioneered and established protocol for beating heart CABG [MIDCAB and THORACAB] at Batra Cardiac Center. |
Dr. Deepak Contributed in planning, implementation and establishment of cardiac surgical set up at, Regency hospital Kanpur and Heart Centre, Magadh hospital, Patna. He is Inspector for DNB to recommend recognition for DNB training in Anaesthesiology. He has played a pivotal role in managing approx 500 cases/year; dealing mainly with Adult Cardiac Surgery; doing CABG exclusively on beating heart. |

He is a regular attendant of Annual Conferences of IACTS, IACTA, ISA and is part of the Demonstrating Faculty of Workshop on Beating Heart at KGMC, Lucknow, 29Jan, 2002. He has also attended Conference on clinical research and Drug development In India.(14-15, March,07’) and the Symposium on Biosimilar Regulatory Pathway and Public Health (June 23,07) |
