Medical Action Group

Purpose:
The Medical Action Group is a volunteer group of young, high-energy and internet (including email) savvy doctors who are committed to making a difference in community health in the areas that they service. They are registered medical practitioners who would act as the inter-phase between CCF and the community in its initiatives to spread awareness and educate them on the risks, care and prevention of chronic diseases.

 

The Group will be committed to the organization’s objectives and must ensure legal and ethical compliance in furthering the organization’s mission at all times.

Responsibilities:

 
Validate CCF publicity material with respect to medical content.
Provide free Medical advice to CCF for our community initiatives.
Advise, Guide and oversee the CCF initiatives in their region of operation to the best of their ability as and when required.
Ensure Legal and Ethical Integrity and Maintain Accountability.
Advise and guide CCF on Planning towards medical initiatives
Recruit and Orient New group members who are like-minded and committed.
Enhance the Organization’s Public Standing in their respective states, and local governments
Determine, Guide, Monitor and Participate and Strengthen the Organization’s Programmes and Services with appropriate medical inputs.
Organize, educate and mobilize health professionals, students and workers to deliver health services to general and specific public, and for them to become advocates of human and health rights; and,
Unite with other advocates of health and others to ensure that the health rights of the people are met and the exercise of the humanitarian ideals of health providers is protected.
