Dr Ratna Devi
Dr Ratna Devi

Dr. Ratna Devi is currently serving as Chief Executive of Chronic Care Foundation, New Delhi, an organisation working on Awareness generation, Research, Advocacy with government, and capacity building of providers to increase reach and access to care for chronic diseases with a special focus on CVDs, Diabetes and Stroke. She has over 20 years of experience of which 10 years have been in the government. She has been functioning in the Senior Management capacity of other developmental organizations like CARE India, HIV/AIDS Alliance, Byrraju Foundation, Pragya Research & Consultancy Services, and Haemophilia Federation India and as a consultant with APSACS & APAIDSCON in the past. She is also associated with John Hopkins Centre for communication in India for developing the national migrant strategy and communication kit. Ratna is an advisor on the Board of Communication for Development (C4D) an organisation working on developing context specific thematic communication materials. She also sits  on the Board of AROGYAAN (ITECH INDIA) the Indian entity of ITECH International. She has worked as a consultant physician with Asha Polyclinic, New Delhi and the Government of Gujarat for more than a decade. Ratna represents several technical advisory groups for HIV and has worked closely with the government in the health sector.

Dr. Ratna Devi has presented several papers on public health and social issues in national and international conferences and has attended several trainings on ART, RCH, Haemophilia and Public Health.

Dr. Ratna Devi holds an M.B.B.S degree from Sambalpur University, and an MBA(Health Care) from Sikkim Manipal University. She also has a post-graduate diploma in HR & Finance from Symbiosis University, Pune. She has also completed certificate courses in Coronary Care Management from RSP and Six Sigma Certificate on Quality management from SATYAM.

She speaks English, Hindi, Telugu, Gujarati, Bengali, Oriya and Marathi.
